Upper Westside Atlanta Neighborhoods

Berkeley Park

Berkeley Park blends classic charm with the area’s modern energy . Once part of Atlanta's industrial expansion, it now sits at the heart of a thriving corridor—just moments from The Works and Westside Provisions District.

Blandtown

Blandtown was originally established after the Civil War by formerly enslaved families, including descendants of Felix Bland, for whom the neighborhood is named. Over time it became an industrial hub, and today it stands as one of the Westside's most visible examples of Atlanta's ongoing growth and revitalization with it’s proximity to the businesses, creative spaces, and walkable destinations of the changing Upper Westside of Atlanta.

Bolton

Bolton is Upper Westside Atlanta's most historic neighborhood. Known for its industrial roots, growing residential community, and convenient access to the Chattahoochee River and major city destinations. It serves as the major artery to Buckhead and Midtown Atlanta. Learn more from our historian and architectural preservationist, Kelly Calhoun, in her article titled, “The Upper Westside Story,” from our debut issue - January 2026, by Kelly Calhoun. @boltonatl @BoltonNPUD

Loring Heights

Hugging Midtown Atlanta, just north of Atlantic Station and next to Buckhead, Loring Heights is a charming neighborhood of approximately 300 homes that feels like a hidden retreat despite its central location. Its active neighborhood association has meticulously maintained Loring Heights Park, complete with its beloved duck pond, playground, and gardens, while the wooded trails of Tanyard Creek Greenspace offer residents a peaceful escape into nature. Rich in history and charm, Loring Heights provides the perfect blend of community, green space, and convenient access to Northside Drive and some of Atlanta's most vibrant destinations.
